Masters Coach
About The Position
As an Aquatics Masters Swim Team Coach, you will work in a fast-paced environment and will help our adult members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. A typical day for Masters Swim Coach could include writing and leading Masters Group Workouts and registering new Masters participants for the group. You will help to maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of coaching experience
- Member of US Masters
- CPR/AED Certified
- Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
- Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education.
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to raise more than 20lbs
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Masters Coach Certification Level 1 & 2
Responsibilities
- Runs the daily operations of the masters swim team
- Provides adult swimmers the opportunity to master technique
- Establishes training programs to assist adult swimmers to achieve their goals
- Attends and supports swimmers at meets
- Understands Life Time products and programs
