Requirements

Prior Automotive Technician experience and personal tools are REQUIRED (compensation based on experience).
GM Certified Technician required.
Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, technical manuals, and procedural documentation.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Consistent use of safety equipment and maintenance of a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

Diagnose & Plan Repairs: Examine vehicles, identify issues, and outline repair plans in coordination with the Service Advisor. Provide accurate labor time and parts estimates.
Perform Complex Repairs: Repair and replace major systems including engines, steering, suspension, brakes, air‑conditioning, and warranty‑related components according to required specifications.
Conduct Road Tests: Verify repair quality by performing road tests and ensuring all work aligns with customer, manufacturer, and company standards.
Handle Routine Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance tasks to promote long‑term vehicle performance and reliability.
Stay Current on Technology: Attend factory-sponsored training to remain informed on new automotive technologies, tools, and industry trends.
