Requirements

Extensive automotive technician experience with required personal tools (pay based on experience)
GM Certified Technician designation required
Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operating procedures, maintenance documentation, and technical manuals
Flexible schedule to meet service department needs
Commitment to safety, including proper use of protective equipment and maintaining a clean, organized workspace in accordance with company standards
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must successfully complete all pre‑employment screening processes.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and Plan Repairs: Inspect and identify vehicle concerns, collaborating with the Shop Foreman and Service Advisor to determine necessary repairs. Provide accurate labor and parts estimates.
Perform Major System Repairs: Repair and replace engines, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning systems, and warranty-related components according to specifications and timelines.
Conduct Road Tests: Test-drive repaired vehicles to verify that issues have been resolved and all work meets customer, manufacturer, and dealership standards.
Maintain Vehicle Performance: Complete routine maintenance services to support vehicle longevity, safety, and reliability.
Stay Current on Technology: Attend factory-sponsored training and seminars to stay informed on evolving automotive technologies and industry best practices.
