Location: Boston, MA Summary: As a Master Systems Technician , you will be responsible for installation and/or servicing of integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. Possesses strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills. Provides guidance and leadership to others to ensure best practices are used .

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 7+ years industry experience - preferred .
  • Minimum of 5 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience.
  • State licensing is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • ESA Level 2 and NICET Fire level 2 - preferred .
  • Completion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path OR equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
  • Proficient in design of integrated systems.
  • Proficient in software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.
  • Possesses the skill to decipher/design integrated systems in conjunction with local jurisdiction requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years industry experience - preferred .
  • ESA Level 2 and NICET Fire level 2 - preferred .

Responsibilities

  • Uses strong problem-solving skills to install, troubleshoot and repair integrated systems.
  • Completes installation and/or servicing of advanced network devices employed with integrated systems.
  • Supervises major projects.
  • Provides technical support to less experienced staff.
