About The Position

The Master Security Technician at Mobile Communications America Inc. is responsible for installing and servicing physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. This role involves leading installation teams, troubleshooting system issues, and serving as the primary customer interface. The technician will also mentor team members and manage subcontractors while staying updated on emerging technologies in the security field.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with the installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security systems.
• Advanced knowledge of intrusion detection systems, access control, and CCTV.
• Ability to oversee full installation of multiple systems across various platforms.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing and servicing physical security systems/platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, and intrusion detection.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.
• Leading on-site installations and serving as foreman of an installation team.
• Training and mentoring others within the team.
• Serving as the main customer interface.
• Managing trades and subcontractors assigned to projects.
• Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential applications.
