As a Master Scheduler for a systems engineering contract, your role is to ensure that the project is fully captured in the IMS while integrating with agile methodology, to the required performance specifications by proactively managing uncertainties. This role requires a strong understanding of scheduling best practices, technical project execution, and contractual obligations. You will build and maintain a program-level IMS, comprised of multiple sub projects, which includes major milestones and deliverables with projected start dates, due dates, schedule status, assigned resources, priorities of work and alignment to Contractor's Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS). You will coordinate and maintain an integrated project schedule that aligns with agile release train stories, develop the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and coordinate the IMS with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Additionally, you will lead cross functional team members in the definition of project tasks, establish task durations, define relationships, impose constraints, and collect weekly status. You will propose processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling and understand the impacts of any changes to program delivery. You will track the critical path in program activities, associated risks, and recommended mitigations in requested schedule and risk reviews. Experience using Microsoft Project to develop high level schedules and graphics utilizing Excel or Power BI to deliver to senior leaders and stakeholders is essential. You will also facilitate client-facing meetings to review the IMS and discuss potential schedule slips and mitigation plans, and leverage comprehensive metrics, customer and stakeholder feedback to assess program performance and risks.
