About The Position

With limited supervision, the Master Scheduler plans and coordinates flight event schedules efficiently based on customer need, crew, and asset availability. The Scheduler is responsible for executing every aspect of the mission from beginning to end, anticipating the needs of customers, the aircraft, and crew members. Collaborate with operational, production, and technical teams to plan and schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience scheduling and planning for large-scale, complex programs.
  • Experience in program development, management, and execution.
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing teams to execute coordinated plans and activities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow within the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Security Clearance
  • Experience in project management software and tools (e.g., OnePlan or Microsoft Project).
  • Basic understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the aerospace/manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a detailed Master Flight Schedule including flight events CONUS / OCONUS that are both operational and R&D based.
  • Liaise daily with multiple departments to create and manage requirements needed to meet mission delivery schedules.
  • Implement and optimize crew staffing strategies and resource utilization plans.
  • Monitor schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.
  • Identify constraining material requirements and capacity requirements affecting MFS.
  • Perform capacity analysis to determine the availability of resources necessary to support the flight plan.
  • Make proposals for modifications to plans regarding projected requirements and demand forecasts, and reports on status.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
