About The Position

Master Scheduler Hypertherm Associates is searching for a Master Scheduler – WaterJet Systems to join our team in Kent, WA. The Master Scheduler is accountable for the systems of supply chain management for their business unit. These systems include: Accuracy of the product configuration within ERP (i.e., revision accuracy and timing of implementations), forecasting and forecast accuracy for all part usage to the supply base Recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations Coordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new products Interact with internal customers to ensure that all requirements are met Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals As a Master Scheduler, you will: Work closely with the Operations Leader, Planning, Procurement and others to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve the company objectives Manage forecasts using statistical forecasting to assemble the materials forecast for the business unit in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Procurement and Operations Maintain ERP data for both supplied and make parts Take an active role in New Product Development implementation Execute Engineering Change Order (ECO) tasks Coordinate disposition of obsolete, end of life and slow-moving inventory Manage work orders that support system sales orders to achieve KPI targets to ensure on time shipments Demonstrate leadership qualities to exercise influence both throughout the organization and with external parties – direct leadership up to 20% Identify process improvements and use structured problem solving to implement solutions – collaborate and drive continuous improvements across the organization Participate in business review meetings as necessary to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost reduction opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, master scheduling, purchasing, and supplier schedule management
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Advanced knowledge of Materials Replenishment within ER
  • Knowledge of and experience with Engineering Changes Processes
  • Knowledge of and experience with Parts Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other database query tools
  • Strong written and verbal presentation and communications
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of and experience in manufacturing environment with engineered parts

  • Green Belt Certified
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Lean/JIT production
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook

Responsibilities
