About The Position

Responsible for evaluation of daily sales orders and creation of a master production schedule that identifies line load and priority for on time completion of sales order for all areas of production. Schedule will detail machines assigned for production, inventory assignment to complete specific orders, and assigned packaging location. The intent is to supply a distinct plan for production supervisors to follow that will allow on-time shipping while minimizing production floor shortfalls.

Requirements

Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the World Wide Web in order to prepare information, train employees, maintain records, and document work
Intermediate understanding of manipulation of Sales Orders within and out of Inventory Control Software
Ability to export Sales Order data into Excel
Ability to retrieve and update sales order status
Intermediate Excel skills
Use of import/export functions
Use of analyzing tools
Manipulation of data fields within Excel
Interface with Procurement and understand rudimentary raw material inventory status.
Interface with Packaging Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

Receive orders in from [email protected]
Communicate with Sales Team for pricing of orders.
Monitor and update master production schedule with newly added daily sales orders on an ongoing, timely basis.
Enter orders into ERP system, assign raw/stock, schedule production.
Learn customer specifications and assure communication with procurement to ensure attainment of appropriate raw product availability to meet customer specifications
Interface with Procurement Specialist to identify available product to meet sales demand
Monitor the receiving schedules daily to keep ahead of our packing schedule requirements
Analyze daily sales orders, assigning production location, machines and time that meet on-time shipping parameters.
Coordinate final daily production schedule with shift supervisors
Communicate final daily master schedule to Sales Team, Procurement Team, and Production Team.
Maintain database of machine parameters to assist in Line Load calculations
Participate in management teams and provide management support as appropriate
Maintain open communication with supervisors and managers in order to achieve the above expectations.
Must understand that working hours will be irregular
Maintain an office/work station from which to administrate the above expectations
Other duties as assigned and assist other departments as needed
Monitor Packaging Inventory and orders as needed
