About The Position

This position supports a nationwide Program Management Office responsible for planning, constructing, sustaining, maintaining, and disposing of federal real property assets. The program includes construction, alteration, and sustainment projects requiring integrated master scheduling, lifecycle tracking, and performance reporting. The Master Scheduler provides centralized scheduling expertise to ensure accurate forecasting, milestone tracking, and executive-level visibility into program performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support development, maintenance, and oversight of integrated master schedules for multiple concurrent construction and facilities projects
  • Utilize Primavera and Microsoft Project to develop, review, evaluate, and analyze project schedules
  • Review schedules submitted by contractors, partner agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure logical sequencing, proper dependencies, and compliance with project requirements
  • Assist in developing and maintaining an integrated program-level schedule capturing interdependencies across all projects
  • Prepare and update comprehensive project schedules throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify schedule variances, slippage, and cost impacts and report findings to government leadership
  • Produce monthly performance and variance reports including progress, cost, and schedule analysis
  • Load and maintain approved schedules in required electronic formats and ensure timely submission to the Government
  • Assist with milestone management and resource loading within project schedules
  • Support progress tracking, performance measurement, and trend analysis
  • Participate in schedule risk assessments and assist in identifying mitigation strategies
  • Support project managers in maintaining accurate, up-to-date schedule and performance data in government systems of record
  • Provide analysis to support decision-making related to schedule impacts and cost changes
  • Assist in tracking configuration changes and documenting schedule impacts associated with approved modifications
  • Support preparation of executive briefings and reporting related to schedule performance
