We are currently providing services in the community, as well as via telehealth when preferred. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate of a graduate school/program in mental health. JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a masterâs-level, clinical trainee to work in our school-based programs. Schools we have partnerships with are in the Moundsview, White Bear Lake and St Paul School districts. Clinical Trainees work directly in the school with students identified by our school referral partners and engage with parents/families and other invested parties in the childâs life. Some community involvement will be necessary to engage parents and families in services. Ideal Candidates Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health for the individual as well as within the family. Knowledge of diagnostic assessment process, treatment planning and use of varied therapeutic interventions with children/families/individuals, including some crisis intervention. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain professional relationships with school-based staff and family members to coordinate services and efficiently respond to/manage referrals. Proficient use of computers and online Electronic Health Record/Microsoft systems used for clinical documentation as well as communication with clients, families and staff. Strong organizational skills in managing daytime (school hours) availability as well as potential for afternoons/evenings as necessary. Ability to transport self between client homes/clinic and/or community-based locations. CIBHS Therapists are a critical part of our clinical team. We are seeking Therapists that: Possess a Master's degree (or other graduate/doctoral degree) in a mental health related field Minimum of six months previous experience in Mental Health as a Community Based Therapist in, CTSS, or ARMHS Experience with psychotherapy and competence with performing diagnostic assessments Experience with Foster Providers, Adoption, and County Social Services Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health within the family. Knowledge of varied interventions with children/families/individuals in crisis Proficient use of computers for communicating and documenting for clients and staff. Strong skills in managing a flexible schedule and ability to appropriately manage referrals. Ability to transport self between client homes/clinic and/or community based locations
