About The Position

The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and releasing daily production schedules for all product lines at the Gilbarco Veeder-Root Greensboro manufacturing facility. This role ensures that customer demand is met on time while balancing capacity, material availability, and operational efficiency. The Master Production Scheduler works cross-functionally with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Commercial teams to support on-time delivery, continuous improvement, and successful new product introductions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, master scheduling, or manufacturing planning within a complex manufacturing environment; or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production planning principles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple product lines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI) in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
• Experience in regulated, engineered-to-order, or high-mix manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute daily and weekly production schedules for all Greensboro product lines to meet customer demand and business objectives.
• Release production orders to manufacturing in alignment with capacity, material availability, and prioritized customer due dates.
• Partner closely with Customer Service to ensure customer orders are planned and delivered on or before committed dates.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure materials, components, and subassemblies are available to support production schedules.
• Monitor material constraints, capacity limitations, and schedule adherence; proactively resolve issues and communicate risks.
• Support new product launches by coordinating with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Commercial teams to integrate new products into production schedules.
• Maintain accurate planning data within ERP/MRP systems, including routings, lead times, and planning parameters.
• Analyze demand, production performance, and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improved service, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and other planning review processes as required.
• Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes, tools, and cross-functional communication.
