Advanced knowledge of motion controls, industrial controls, electrical and pneumatic operations, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery issues. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving electrical/control failures of production machines, ensuring timely repairs to eliminate recurring problems. Strong ability to design and implement electrical power, safety, and control systems to meet performance requirements. Provides process and systemic improvements, working with engineering teams on projects to enhance machine efficiencies and reduce production costs. Leads non-conformance investigations, utilizing Practical Problem-Solving tools to improve processes and eliminate issues. Responsible for maintaining inventory of essential spare parts, ordering electrical and PLC components as needed, and ensuring adequate supplies for repairs. Open to overtime and off-hours support, including nights and weekends, to address emergency breakdowns. Partners with Engineering on improvement projects, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and provides support for technical reports and training opportunities for technicians.
