About The Position

The Master Plumber at Nationwide Plumbing is responsible for diagnosing residential and commercial plumbing systems to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers, employees, and properties. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation procedures, as well as the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop excellent professional relations with clients, prospective clients, and vendors.
• Attend meetings as needed.
• Understand specifications, plans, and blueprints.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing products, materials, equipment, and installation procedures.
• Assess the most efficient material, rental equipment, and installation process.
• Prepare and communicate to clarify project scope during and after the estimating process.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Prepare bid proposals and change orders.
• Track, follow up, and review unsold estimates and contract documents.
• Support purchasing and field teams in all aspects of project development.
• Mentor other plumbers as needed.
• Follow health and safety standards and comply with building and plumbing codes.
• Perform other duties as needed to accomplish the responsibilities of the Plumbing.
