See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: As a part of the talented Facilities team, you will learn the skills and knowledge to become a journey worker Master Plumber by working alongside journey worker Master Plumbers and attending schooling at Wisconsin Technical College System. You will assist with various plumbing tasks, including installations, repairs, and maintenance, while gaining hands-on experience and understanding of plumbing codes and regulations. At the end of your four-year apprenticeship, you will be responsible directly to the Facilities Supervisor for: Quality and quantity of product Completion of all assigned tasks Tools and equipment Adherence to all Company policies Performing all work according to Company safety policies, recognized industry standards, and follow at all times what is known to be safe practices Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders Receive and complete work orders Install and repair pipes, fitting valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment Perform all work in accordance with State and Local requirements.
