About The Position

As part of Clarios’ $2.2Bn North American Metals business unit, and under general direction of the North American Metals Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for creating and preparing plans consistent with supply/demand forecasting for Clarios. This role will work strategically and collaboratively with cross functional teams within and outside of the North American region in support of the development and execution of the Global Metals strategy and is integrally involved on all phases of our Metals supply chain. The Master Planner also provides advice and recommendations as appropriate to assist the Business Unit Director, Procurement, and Logistics in carrying out assigned responsibilities. How you will do it Support the design, development, change management, and maintenance of the Metals Operating System throughout North America. Develop the annual base plan, which is used to drive the budgeting process throughout the Americas. Develop supply plans monthly to ensure capacity and market availability matches demand forecast. Alert management to critical areas to ensure capacity, raw materials, are aligned throughout the Americas. Prepare supply analysis providing basis for manufacturing five-year plus plans throughout the Americas. Coordinate the utilization of manufacturing data with other functional areas. Identify potential risk and make recommendations to supply and volume adjustments based on changing service and network cost requirements. Create and implement action plans for enhancements in supply/demand planning and inventory control techniques throughout the Americas. Direct and monitor transportation activities to assure that balanced inventories are maintained, and that production and purchase releases are scheduled to meet production and inventory objectives throughout the Americas. Support the North American S&OP process as required with data, analysis and execution of plans and action items. What we look for Required Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Finance, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum 6 years of related experience (production, inventory control, supply chain management, etc) with proven success. Supply / Demand Planning experience. Preferred Advanced computer competency skills, especially Microsoft Excel, SAP, and PowerBI. Manufacturing experience. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance as further described below. The position has a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. This role may also include opportunities for a bonus and premium pay based on performance.

Requirements
