Acts Construction is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Master Painter / Foreman position. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex surface preparation, selecting appropriate paint materials, and using various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish. Removes old finishes and preps surface for interior and/or exterior painting. Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment. Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work. Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc. Potential to operate as team lead and supervise paint crews, providing positive direction to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of painting experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred
