About The Position
Piper Companies is looking for a Master Network Specialist to join a DoD consulting company. This position is onsite in San Diego, CA. The Master Network Specialist will support the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services-Restricted (HITS-R) contract. The role involves performing a variety of network engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment. The specialist will develop integrated system test requirements, strategies, devices, and systems, and will direct overall system level testing. Additionally, the role includes researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
