About The Position

Master Tech Transdev in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Master Technician to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our diesel-powered assets. Transdev is proud to offer: CBA Position: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: $31.50 - $37.96 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) Benefits include: Vacation: up to 14 days per year Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly full-time employees/ 5 hrs monthly part- time employees; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays. Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic.
  • ASE certifications are required and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Mechanic’s Tool Set
  • Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot all engine issues.
  • Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on engine components, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Assist all Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
  • Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for all engines.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on all engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge
