Position Summary: Master Mechanic to perform mechanical work on school buses and other district vehicles
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
- Eight (8) years’ experience in the mechanical repair of diesel, gasoline, alternative fuel powered trucks, school buses and automobiles
- Advanced knowledge in diverse fleet maintenance and repair, positive attitude, strong self-initiative, desire for continuous improvement and be willing to work varied shifts, and/or work over when requested
- Must also possess or be willing to obtain the following: CDL Class A combination with passenger endorsement, State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, State of Oklahoma Alternative Fuels CNG Technician Certificate, ASE School Bus Technician Certification, Basic tools required to perform duties
- Able and willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
