About The Position
This posting will be used to fill a current vacancy in the Fleet Services Division of the Utilities Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of an immediate supervisor. However, an eligibility list will be established or supplemented for filling future vacancies in the department, per provisions of the AFSCME collective bargaining agreement. The Master Mechanic is primarily responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions, estimating repair costs, writing service orders and providing other employees with on-the-job training related to automotive repairs and maintenance.
