Must be self-driven and able to work with a minimum of supervision. Must understand shop operation and be able to make proper priority decisions. Capable of diagnosing, locating and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and electronic problems. Must be capable of good, accurate communications with service support, factory supervision and management. Must be able to train other maintenance personnel. Must document repairs to enable better trouble-shooting skills. Must be a leader and assist Maintenance Supervisor in their duties. Must support and assist in major equipment failure during any shift, upon short notice. Must attend selected training courses as deemed necessary each year. Must provide and demonstrate service attitude in all interactions within the plant. Your Qualifications: The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE. High school diploma or GED plus technical school certificate for 3-year course in Industrial Electronics or equivalent degree/certification. Must possess and maintain a minimum of a “Registered Unlicensed Electricians License”. Must have knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as their components. Must have completed a basic computer training course and be computer literate. Will be required to possess or obtain a refrigerant Type II Certification and be familiar with refrigeration equipment. A certification of completion for an Introduction to Machine Tool course or equivalent is preferred. Requires formal apprenticeship training or equivalent (a minimum of 3 years experience as an Electronics Mechanic capable of working on CNC and DNC equipment and competent in the ability to troubleshoot electronic control systems). Must possess and maintain a minimum of a “Registered Unlicensed Electricians License”. The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time. The ability to read and understand written English.
