About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Master’s level therapist INTERN, for a rural outpatient clinic. The clinic works with a diverse clientele, so candidates must be comfortable working with clients of all ages. The internship position includes providing direct therapy services for children/adolescents, adults, and families. Previous mental health experience is preferred but not required. No weekends, holidays, or on-call work is required. This is a non-paid full-time internship.

Requirements

• Minimum education level of Bachelor's Degree.
• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
• Must be in good standing as a student.

• Previous mental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy as part of the internship required by the Master's program in counseling, marriage/family therapy, social work, or related field of study.
• Perform initial assessments, maintain treatment plans, and complete all clinical documentation.
