About The Position

The Master Esthetician at Zermatt Resort & Spa provides an elevated, luxury skincare experience for our guests. We are looking for a proactive professional who not only possesses advanced clinical skills but also understands the importance of business development. The ideal candidate will take an active role in networking and self-promotion to build a loyal local following and ensure a consistently full book. The role involves proactive business development, delivering premium esthetic services including customized Swiss-style facials, advanced extractions, chemical peels, and specialized body treatments. It also focuses on elevating the guest experience through comprehensive skin analyses and bespoke treatment plans, driving retail and revenue by providing professional aftercare prescriptions and suggesting treatment upgrades, and maintaining operational excellence by keeping the treatment room pristine and accurately documenting guest profiles. The position requires supporting a professional, drama-free work environment through positive communication and team-oriented behavior.

Requirements

Current and active Utah DOPL Master Esthetician License is required.
Proven track record of client retention and a willingness to engage in self-promotion/networking.
Exceptional communication skills and a "guest-first" mentality.
Ability to work a resort schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable speaking with guests outside the treatment room to build a personal brand within the spa.
Expertise in advanced skincare modalities and ingredient knowledge.
Strong sales aptitude with a soft-touch approach to retail.

Responsibilities

Actively network within the resort and local community to promote services and attract new clientele.
Participate in resort events and "meet the expert" opportunities to build guest rapport.
Perform a sophisticated range of treatments including customized Swiss-style facials, advanced extractions, chemical peels, and specialized body treatments (wraps and scrubs).
Conduct comprehensive skin analyses to create bespoke treatment plans.
Ensure every guest leaves with a reason to re-book and refer others.
Provide professional aftercare "prescriptions" to meet monthly retail goals.
Suggest relevant treatment upgrades to maximize the value of every guest visit.
Maintain a pristine, sanitized, and "stage-ready" treatment room.
Accurately document guest profiles to ensure seamless long-term retention.
Support a professional, drama-free work environment through positive communication and team-oriented behavior.
