About The Position

The Master Electrician at Best Care Home Services is responsible for leading and performing all aspects of residential and light commercial electrical work — including whole-home generator installations — while ensuring full compliance with codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations. This position provides technical expertise, supervises electrical teams, and delivers top-tier service to our customers throughout the Mid-South.

Requirements

• Valid Tennessee Master Electrician License.
• Minimum 5 years of residential or commercial electrical experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience installing and servicing whole-home generators (specifically Generac).
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, blueprints, and system design.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing system connections.
• Proficiency in ServiceTitan or similar service management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in residential and light commercial settings.
• Lead whole-home generator installations, including wiring, transfer switch setup, system testing, and inspection coordination.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Tennessee local regulations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical issues, providing accurate repair and installation solutions.
• Plan and lay out wiring, fixtures, and system components based on job specifications and code requirements.
• Collaborate with HVAC and Plumbing departments to coordinate electrical portions of equipment installations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of materials, labor, and project details within company systems.
• Assist with developing department safety procedures and technical training materials.
• Represent Best Care Home Services with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first attitude.
