Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Master Electrician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor in the Queens, New York ( 11368 ) area. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed electrician who enjoys flexible, independent work while earning top-tier pay. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of residential and commercial electrical services, including repairs, maintenance, installations, and diagnostics. We are seeking professionals who can cover a 50-mile radius around Queens, NY , allowing us to efficiently serve clients across multiple boroughs and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Valid New York State / NYC Electrical License (REQUIRED)
- Proven experience as a Master or Licensed Electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and code requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Own professional electrical tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Electrical Work: Handle all aspects of electrical work including wiring, panel upgrades, breaker replacements, outlet and switch installation, lighting installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with NYC and New York State electrical codes . Obtain proper permits and inspections where required.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues accurately and efficiently. Implement safe, effective solutions that meet company quality standards.
- Installation Projects: Perform installations of electrical systems including service panels, lighting systems, outlets, switches, EV chargers, and electrical components in residential and commercial settings.
- Client Communication and Professionalism: Communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Explain electrical issues, proposed solutions, and preventative maintenance recommendations.
- Work Order Completion: Complete assigned jobs efficiently and within required timeframes while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Provide Your Own Tools and Vehicle: Must have a complete set of professional electrical tools and a reliable vehicle for travel to job locations.
- Liability Insurance: As a 1099 contractor, you must carry active liability insurance. If not currently insured, coverage must be obtained prior to starting work.
