About The Position

Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) is a 100% Tribally owned, Native American SBA 8(a) small business of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP). WFS is part of a portfolio of companies managed by Waséyabek Development Company, LLC, a 100% Tribally owned economic development firm focused on income diversification on behalf of NHBP that reaches beyond gaming is a well-funded, experienced small business, with substantial liquid assets and experience in federal contracting. WFS has borrowing capacity to meet the daily cash needs of new business development, new award support, and operational working capital. WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services. The Master Electrician (MRPT) is a senior-level technical professional responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities in support of a U.S. government contract. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role requires extensive expertise in electrical systems, codes, and regulatory compliance. The Master Electrician provides leadership to electrical teams and ensures all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, federal regulations, and Department of State (DOS) requirements.

Requirements

  • Active MRPT Clearance (required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Master Electrician License
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Master Electrician or in a senior electrical leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience supervising electrical personnel on commercial, industrial, or government facilities
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a secure, regulated environment

  • Experience supporting U.S. government or Department of State (DOS) contracts
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and execute complex electrical installations, maintenance, and repair operations
  • Lead and manage teams of electricians and apprentices, ensuring proper training and task execution
  • Serve as the technical authority for electrical systems and infrastructure
  • Ensure full compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, federal regulations, and DOS requirements
  • Manage electrical projects from initial planning through final completion and inspection
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance reviews to ensure work meets contractual and regulatory standards
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical system issues in a timely and safe manner
  • Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe and compliant work environment
  • Prepare and maintain required documentation, reports, and records
