To Lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, psychological growth and maturation, entry-level skills in the trade area, as well as providing a smooth transition to possible higher education and employment in midlevel technical careers. The Electrical Instructor will spend approximately seventy-five percent of their time teaching hands-on practical applications in a shop setting and twenty-five percent teaching theory in the classroom. Plan, teach, and evaluate assigned courses that align to meet the standard of the Massachusetts Career and Vocational Technical Frameworks and industry standards. Perform those tasks associated with the teaching profession in general. Become especially responsive to the needs of students enrolled in Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School and make a constructive effort to serve the needs of the Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School as an organization.
