The Master Data Specialist is an established performer that works to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of critical data across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining and managing master data within enterprise systems to support business operations and strategic decision-making.

  • Create, update, and maintain master data across enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Monitor and validate data inputs, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance policies and best practices.
  • Support data-related projects, including system implementations, migrations, and upgrades, ensuring accurate data mapping and validation.
  • Perform regular audits and quality checks on master data to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including data standards, workflows, and procedures, to ensure consistency in data management practices.
  • Train and support end users on data governance processes, tools, and systems to promote adherence to established standards.
  • Provide insights and analytics related to master data to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for master data inquiries, changes, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure alignment of master data across all systems, including ERP, CRM, and other platforms.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance data quality, efficiency, and governance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing data cleansing strategies to address legacy or redundant data.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in data management.
  • Works on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
  • Performs accurate analyses, conducts research, and draws meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
  • Influences others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principals, industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite of products.
