About The Position

The Master Data Management Administrator at Post Consumer Brands is responsible for the effective management and operation of the cloud-based Master Data Management (MDM) system. This role involves ensuring the MDM tools are running efficiently and securely, supporting the organization's data management and governance initiatives. The administrator will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement data management strategies, ensuring high standards of data quality and compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Javascript, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux, and Web Services.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with a SaaS MDM solution, including configuration, development, architectural design, and integration.
  • Experience with Stibo MDM solution preferred.
  • Proven ability to configure SaaS MDM solutions, including attribute creation and workflow creation.
  • In-depth understanding of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL) and ability to write complex operational queries.
  • Solid knowledge of API RESTful services.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expertise in process management, data management, and taxonomy.
  • Ability to lead and execute on simultaneous projects and prioritize effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Consumer Product Goods company preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain the cloud-based MDM system.
  • Gather Match & Merge rules and develop trust matrix, match path, match columns, and match rules.
  • Design, develop, and implement architecture for MDM as an enterprise solution.
  • Execute data profiling and data quality analysis, capturing results for recommendations and planning.
  • Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing of patch releases and system upgrades.
  • Propose principles of MDM data model lifecycle management for data quality management.
  • Assess current state of data control processes for specific data domains or elements.
  • Manage data for business partners within system master data applications.
  • Capture and monitor key business data rules within business systems.
  • Track ongoing data quality levels and identify optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues.
  • Support Data Owners in resolving data quality issues and publicize successes.
  • Participate in the design and deployment of applications, data integration, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to manage and implement key projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of the SaaS MDM system with data protection regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide on-call support to resolve production problems related to data setup.
