About The Position

The Master Data Associate position involves managing and maintaining master data within JDE and connected systems. This role is crucial for ensuring data quality and integrity while providing excellent customer service. The associate will support technology initiatives and business process changes, assess the impact of new business requirements, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The position requires creating and maintaining documentation related to master data functions and maintaining an understanding of the business's product offerings.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years JD Edwards Enterprise One experience preferred.
  • Experience entering, maintaining, and importing address book or other master data within JDE preferred.
  • Experience establishing, monitoring, and maintaining data quality standards both with and without the use of automated toolsets a plus.
  • Familiarity with MDM best practices a plus.
  • Basic to Intermediate skills with data management tools: MS Excel, ReportsNow, PowerBI preferred.
  • Experience documenting project requirements and milestones.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of process documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Smartsheet.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, hybrid work environment.

  • Familiarity with MDM best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry of address book master data (Vendor, Supplier, Customer, Employee, etc.) within JDE and connected systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through effective management and resolution of data issues, change requests and inquiries.
  • Support critical technology initiatives and business process changes with master data expertise and requirements.
  • Manage the demand for changes and assess impact and ROI of new business requirements.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance master data quality, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Adhere to data governance policies and procedures specific to address book data.
  • Monitor data quality and perform root cause analysis to take prompt corrective action to resolve or escalate master data issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed process and procedure documentation on all master data functions and activities.
  • Maintain an active understanding of the business's product offerings.
