  • Oversee External Manufacturers selected by Lilly to make product for commercialization.
  • Establish and maintain the quality and integrity of the fundamental master data set residing in SAP for External Manufacturing, covering the Americas.
  • Create changes and maintain local plant master data utilizing established processes and services.
  • Drive master data solutions for the local site and ensure master data maintenance processes lead to consistent and accurate master data for site and supply chain operations.
  • Provide project and customer service support to the External Manufacturers in the Americas.
  • Accountable for high quality, timely and accurate local and global data to support site operations for Dry Product External Manufacturers.
  • Execute key master data maintenance and data design, including oversight of Quality Management as it relates to master data in Dry EM.
  • Troubleshoot SAP execution problems, identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Maintain a calendar for SAP data reviews and ensure execution to schedule.
  • Perform data consistency and accuracy audits, with result reporting and improvement identification outputs.
  • Facilitate the review of SAP BOM and Recipes with SMEs.
  • Develop and maintain site Data Steward Procedures, processes, and job aids.
  • Participate in annual standard costing reviews and updates.
  • Contribute in global initiatives for Master Data Management, attending power user forums and applying learnings to the site.
  • Act as the central point of contact for Change Controls and assess impact on systems/data.
  • Support ongoing SAP release testing, implementation of global design changes, and other new system implementations as appropriate.
  • Provide guidance on data information needs to SMEs in other areas to facilitate data collection for new item creation.
  • Support shipment scheduling, shipment documentation and communication, inventory reporting, etc. of materials from External Manufacturers in the Americas.
  • Assist in improvement of business practices in SAP and supplier performance.
  • Participate in implementation of future Lilly business system releases and related process updates.
  • Report metrics and develop action plans for improvements.
  • Conduct product supply risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate supply disruption.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3+ years' experience working in Master Data Analyst role or similar with SAP system.
  • Proficiency with computer systems including SAP, Microsoft Office, DSP, Trackwise, etc.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and understanding of accurate Data Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage/own multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Good computing skills, excellent eye for detail and numerical skills.
  • Fundamental understanding of Supply Chain basics including procurement, manufacturing, planning, customer service, and other supply chain principles.
  • High learning agility.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous Data Stewardship experience preferably in a Manufacturing Site.
  • Background in Master Scheduling and Data Maintenance.
  • APICS certification.
  • OSSCE knowledge and experience.
  • General knowledge of support areas such as Technical Services, Quality and Regulatory.
