About The Position

Aria is seeking an experienced Master Cook for Lemongrass, where you'll bring your skills in wok cooking and high-volume food preparation to our team. We're looking for someone with a strong background in Thai and Chinese cuisine to help us create both authentic dishes and innovative interpretations. Join us and work in a setting inspired by stunning silk factory designs and contribute to crafting memorable meals like spicy pad Thai and wok-tossed Maine lobster with green curry. Requirements

• One year previous experience as a line cook
• Experience in upscale and high-volume kitchen environment
• Proficient and comfortable working with Thai and Chinese cuisine, as well as, Wok experience is preferred
• Comfortable working and cooking with live seafood
• Comfortable in a restaurant kitchen and skilled with culinary tools, equipment, and techniques
• High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent

Responsibilities

• Follow methods of food preparation, cooking, portion size, mixing of sauces and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in an approved manner as prescribed by the Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef
• Set-up workstation based on pars established by Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef, follow station set-up sheet, and operate a specific station
• Evaluate cooked food before serving for quality flavors and appearance by taste and smell
• Comply with health and safety standards, ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use of thermometers
• Delegate tasks to other job classifications as instructed by chefs
