About The Position

Daystar is a Christian Organization seeking an experience Master Control Operator who will be responsible for reviewing religious programs before air to ensure FCC compliance. Maintain daily playlist and monitor outbound channel feed. Must be a Christian who believes and committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Must be able to Work Schedule as follows: Saturday – Wednesday 8a-4p; 2 days MC and 3 days ingest.

Requirements

Be able to sit for long periods / Keen focus on religious programming
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to multitask
Strong PC / Microsoft experience
Quick thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
A dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who wants to join a ministry with a heart for the world
High School diploma
Attention to details
Society of Broadcast Engineers Operator Certification required If you do not have the above Certification, you must be able to obtain Operator Certification within 6 months (this is a position requirement that must be met). Daystar provides all the study material, cost, etc.
Must be able to sit at workstation for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work shifts assigned.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
Must be able to work extended hours during special events (required).
