About The Position

The Master Control Operator position oversees the origination of broadcasts in a multi-channel environment. This role is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of the on-air product, timing out logs, and troubleshooting issues. The operator ensures that all required elements are broadcast at the specified time and reports any discrepancies. The position requires flexibility to alter shifts and days off to accommodate projects and departmental objectives, including the ability to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two to four years of previous master control experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate daily channel logs and adhere to programming protocols.
• Report playout and shift activities, errors, and discrepancies.
• Participate in training programs for technical development related to equipment, software, workflow changes, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot techniques related to channel playout systems and procedures.
