The Master Auto Technician will diagnose and repair vehicles to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. Must be Master or Master Diagnostic Technician (MDT) level technician as outlined per Toyota requirements.
Repair and maintain company, fleet, and warranty vehicles
Repair and maintain other various small engines as well as hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Troubleshoot and repair all automotive systems: electrical, mechanical, A/C, etc
Maintain warranty and repair records as well as order parts and supplies as required
Complete preventive maintenance work as well as other tasks as assigned
May be responsible for teaching and directing certified and expert techs; delegating work & managing the workflow for the technician team at their location
Master Level ASE certified; Toyota or Lexus Certified or Expert preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive maintenance and repair
Willing and able to take required training and tests, including online training modules, to stay current in knowledge and maintain ASE certifications
Experience and ability to use automotive diagnostic instruments, applicable repair manuals & diagrams
Thorough understanding and ability to perform diagnosis/repair of all technical operating systems of an automobile
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work professionally & effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving
Demonstrated ability to use email, and other electronic communication or research resources. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of associates, customers and vendors required
Able to lift up to 100 pounds, stand/walk several hours per day and have full range of motion
Must provide and maintain own tools
Valid driver's license with ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; clean MVR required
