Position Overview: The Stellantis Master Technician is an advanced automotive service professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Stellantis brand vehicles (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, etc.) to factory standards. This role requires in-depth mechanical and technical expertise, use of OEM diagnostic systems, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and vehicle quality. Perform repairs on all major systems including engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, HVAC, brakes/hydraulics, suspension, and advanced fuel/ignition systems. Execute multipoint inspections and identify all safety or service needs. Conduct test drives to verify repair quality and completeness. Accurately document all work performed and recommended on repair orders. Explain technical diagnoses and repair needs clearly to service advisors and customers, including non-technical individuals. Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to shop foreman. Participate in ongoing manufacturer sponsored technical training to stay current with new vehicle systems and technologies. Maintain required certifications as specified by Stellantis and dealership standards. Mentor and assist junior or entry-level technicians as needed. Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment, complying with OSHA and dealership policies. Support customer satisfaction initiatives such as CSI goals by delivering high quality and efficient repairs. Ensure vehicles are returned clean and in excellent condition. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Proven experience as an automotive technician, with advanced experience working on Stellantis vehicles strongly preferred. Demonstrated diagnostic expertise and strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic read-outs. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to advisors and customers. ASE Master Automotive Technician Certification preferred. Stellantis/Mopar Master Technician certification or equivalent preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening.
