You execute precision TIG/MIG welding and custom fabrication, building and modifying components for suspension, body, and chassis systems. A key part of your expertise involves diagnosing and rebuilding carbureted and fuel-injected engines (gas and diesel) and troubleshooting 4x4 drivetrains, gears, and differentials. As a lead expert, you mentor Level I and II technicians, enforce shop standards, and interpret complex schematics. You also communicate estimates and project updates to customers, support general shop operations (installation, testing), and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Would you excel in this position? Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a mechanic/fabricator in a custom or performance shop environment
