About The Position

Hertrich GMC Buick of Salisbury is excited to announce our recently built, cutting-edge service center! We are looking for GM Certified Master Automotive Technicians / Auto Service Techs / Mechanics to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. Our shop is HUGE, air-conditioned, and equipped with heavy-duty lifts for truck work. Each technician bay is equipped with computers for efficiency, and we have a fully stocked parts department, ensuring no waiting on parts. With a spacious showroom and a huge overstocked inventory, we have more customers, more car sales, and more work for you! If you are not currently with a GM franchise, we can help convert your certified training.

Requirements

• GM Certified Master Technician (or ASE certifications)
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and team-oriented
• Must have your own tools
• Valid driver's license required
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a full range of automotive issues (electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, emissions, etc.)
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment efficiently and safely
• Stay up to date with cutting-edge automotive technology
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
