Massage Therapist
About The Position
HealthFitness is seeking a talented Massage Therapist to support our client site in San Diego, CA, conveniently located near the beautiful Torrey Reserve. This is a great opportunity to work in a premium wellness environment and support a health‑focused community. This role is on‑call, offering flexible, as‑needed scheduling—perfect for someone looking to supplement their practice while working with a respected leader in workplace wellness. Responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.
Requirements
- Massage Therapy License for the state of California required, must be certified or registered through CAMTC.
- Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
- 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Good communication skills; listening and verbal.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in sports massage techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
- General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
- Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
- Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.
