If you're seeking a place where you can feel inspired, valued, and empowered to make a difference, we invite you to explore this opportunity as our Massage Therapist Part-time: Our Massage Therapists manage the delivery of massage therapy and bodywork services, perform a variety of massage techniques on guests, and work to create a nurturing experience. Therapists will be responsible for learning treatments specific to Miraval and all pertinent product lines.

Requirements

  • Must hold current Texas State Massage Therapy license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
  • Requirement to provide a specific list of Miraval brand standard modalities.
  • Effective time management, problem solving and communication skills are essential.
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on guest satisfaction in a luxury spa environment.
  • Capable of dealing with stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Ability to perform a variety of 20/50/75/80/100-minute services with clean up times varying from 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending on service length.
  • Shift lengths is 5 hours with no break, or 7 hours with minimum 30-minute break.
  • Capacity to perform 6 to 7 hours of hands-on massage during a scheduled shift.
  • Solutions oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate or can receive this certificate within 1 month of hire.
  • A professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in massage therapy at a resort/destination spa or day spa.
  • Friday - Monday availability is required
