About the role Massage Therapist Opportunity (Part‑Time / Monthly) Location: Livonia, MI HealthFitness has an excellent opportunity for a Massage Therapist at our corporate client site in Livonia, Michigan. This role provides chair massage to support employee wellness. Schedule: Second Wednesday of every month 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Ideal for licensed massage therapists seeking a consistent, monthly opportunity in a professional corporate setting.
Requirements
- Massage Therapy License for the state of Michigan required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 60 days of hire.
- Must provide own massage chair.
- 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Good communication skills; listening and verbal.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in sports massage techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
- General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
- Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
- Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.
