Requirements

Massage Therapist with a current and active license/certification in the state where he/she practices.
One year of Massage Therapy experience is required.
If a state standard exists that is higher than these education/experience requirements, the state standard supersedes these qualifications.

Hospice massage therapy experience preferred but employer happy to train!

Responsibilities

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ascertain whether individuals would benefit from Massage Therapy.
Communicates with the IDG regarding the patient’s condition/status and progress toward goals.
Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.
Fulfills the obligation of requested and/or accepted case assignments.
Provide assessments that will cover a patient's needs and collaborates with IDG to cater the plan of care to the patient.
