Requirements
- 500+ hours of training from an accredited massage therapy program
- Passed Virginia State exam
- Acquired experience 2+ years
- Perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pregnancy massage and body exfoliation treatments
- Must be available to work on weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in lymphatic/cancer treatment modalities a plus
Responsibilities
- Performs professional body treatments in accordance to Courted protocols and local/state guidelines
- Promote the consistency of health, wellness and routine massage care to upsell products, services and packages
- Adhere to policies set forth to ensure best practices and customers satisfaction
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance to HIPPA regulations and service protocols
- Possess leadership qualities, positive attitude and uphold a professional demeanor
- Increase guest retention by building and strengthening relationships
- Ensures intake/consent forms are distributed and completed
- Participate in promoting programs/services throughout TSJ facility
- Assist in the aesthetic cleanliness of spa facility
- Perform administrative duties and support as needed
- Attend all staff meetings, trainings and promotional events
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Provide clear and concise education on pre/post-treatment instructions
- Ensure inventory is stocked with appropriate supplies in treatment rooms
- Ensure standards for infection control are met in accordance with local, state and federal OSHA guidelines
- Clean and sterilize equipment/instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies according to OSHA guidelines
- Attend continuing education to maintain ethical and technical skills are in compliance with Courted Spa, local/state guidelines
