Requirements

  • 500+ hours of training from an accredited massage therapy program
  • Passed Virginia State exam
  • Acquired experience 2+ years
  • Perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pregnancy massage and body exfoliation treatments
  • Must be available to work on weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in lymphatic/cancer treatment modalities a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performs professional body treatments in accordance to Courted protocols and local/state guidelines
  • Promote the consistency of health, wellness and routine massage care to upsell products, services and packages
  • Adhere to policies set forth to ensure best practices and customers satisfaction
  • Maintain client confidentiality in accordance to HIPPA regulations and service protocols
  • Possess leadership qualities, positive attitude and uphold a professional demeanor
  • Increase guest retention by building and strengthening relationships
  • Ensures intake/consent forms are distributed and completed
  • Participate in promoting programs/services throughout TSJ facility
  • Assist in the aesthetic cleanliness of spa facility
  • Perform administrative duties and support as needed
  • Attend all staff meetings, trainings and promotional events
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Provide clear and concise education on pre/post-treatment instructions
  • Ensure inventory is stocked with appropriate supplies in treatment rooms
  • Ensure standards for infection control are met in accordance with local, state and federal OSHA guidelines
  • Clean and sterilize equipment/instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies according to OSHA guidelines
  • Attend continuing education to maintain ethical and technical skills are in compliance with Courted Spa, local/state guidelines
