The Massage Therapist provides professional massage therapies and body treatments tailored to individual guest needs, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role directly enhances the guest experience and contributes to the spa's reputation for excellence. HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE Deliver massage services using appropriate techniques, props, and products. Provide body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, while assessing guest needs and contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy). Stay current with industry techniques and modalities. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring comfort and professionalism. Prepare workstations and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment. Regularly check in with guests to ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout treatments. Promote and sell spa services and retail products. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms. Monitor schedules and adhere to allotted treatment times. Handle inappropriate guest behavior by following standard operating procedures and notifying supervisors as needed. Maintain current skills and state licensure as required by regional regulations. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications. Other duties as assigned.
