Job Summary: The Massage Therapist provides professional, therapeutic massage services at Spa 1919 while contributing to the overall operation and guest experience within the Creek Club Women’s Spa and adjacent fitness areas. This role is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality treatments in alignment with Spa 1919 protocols while maintaining a calm, welcoming, and safety-focused environment for Members and Guests. In addition to hands-on massage therapy, the Massage Therapist supports daily spa operations to promote efficient service flow and exceptional presentation. Support responsibilities may include assisting with Spa Attendant functions, maintaining cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, locker rooms, lounges, and fitness areas, restocking amenities and towels, managing spa and locker room laundry, and providing limited front-desk or scheduling assistance as needed. Duties may shift based on operational demand and seasonal activity while upholding Rock Creek Cattle Company’s standards for professionalism, service, and teamwork. Seasonal Position: April 2, 2026 - November 30, 2026 Hours: Approximately 15-30 weekly hours

Requirements

  • Active Massage Therapist licensure in the State of Montana.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Strong service mindset with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
  • Willingness and availability to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a spa, resort, hospitality, or private club environment.
  • Comfort supporting locker room, fitness, and front-desk operations in addition to treatment services.
  • Familiarity with spa POS systems and scheduling platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional massage therapy services in accordance with Spa 1919 treatment protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate warmly and professionally with Members and Guests to create personalized, memorable spa experiences.
  • Learn and anticipate individual preferences related to treatments, amenities, and services.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with discretion and care, escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and RCCC service standards at all times.
  • Assist with Spa Attendant duties to support efficient service flow throughout the Women’s Spa and fitness areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of locker rooms, lounges, treatment rooms, and workout areas.
  • Sanitize equipment, stock amenities, replenish towels, and manage laundry for Spa 1919 and the Women’s Locker Room.
  • Monitor inventory of treatment products and tools; notify Spa Management when supplies are low.
  • Report maintenance or facility issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted spa operations.
  • Maintain all state-required licenses, certifications, endorsements, and insurance necessary to practice massage therapy in the State of Montana.
  • Strictly follow RCCC safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to safeguard the Club, employees, Members, and Guests.
  • Promptly report Member, Guest, employee, and self-related injuries, accidents, or high-risk concerns in accordance with policy.
  • Follow company procedures to safeguard assets, confidential information, and Member data.
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with Spa 1919 staff to coordinate scheduling, availability, and service readiness.
  • Maintain open, professional communication with the General Manager and department leaders to support special events, tournaments, and large reservations impacting spa operations.
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings, mandatory staff meetings, and required trainings.
  • Participate as a proactive, flexible team member during ad-hoc operational needs and peak periods.
  • Become proficient with spa check-in, appointment scheduling, and point-of-sale (POS) procedures.
  • Accurately record time worked and comply with RCCC payroll and clock-in/clock-out requirements.
  • Monitor personal work hours and notify management when approaching overtime thresholds.
  • Complete opening, side-work, and closing duties efficiently and check out with management before leaving at the end of each shift.
