About The Position

As a Massage Therapist you will be responsible for providing Massage and Spa services to guests with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism and come with exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts. Provide all massages and spa treatments as outlined in The Auberge Resorts Collection protocol manual. Assist in establishing and maintaining standards of excellence in professional image and services. Assist fellow Spa team members with overall operations of spa to ensure guest and employee areas are well organized and meet Auberge Resorts standards of cleanliness. Ensure all massage equipment is functioning properly and make recommendations for maintenance. Work closely with the Lead Esthetician and the Spa Supervisor to collaborate on projects and share important spa information. Maintain helpful, cooperative relations with co-workers. Explain and promote all spa and resort facilities, services and activities to guests, members and staff. Follow-up with Spa Manager on all comments, concerns and suggestions made by staff, members and resort guests. Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

Requirements

  • Certificate of completion from a state or nationally certified school of massage indicating a minimum of 750 hours of training in massage therapy.
  • Current and active New Mexico Certification
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Massage Therapist.
  • Advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology, understanding of the relationship between the structure and function of the human body, understanding of the theory, contraindications and benefits of massage therapy.
  • Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturdays and Sundays)
