About The Position

Make a difference every day as a Massage Therapist for TriHealth Fitness and Health Pavilion. This role involves working in a therapeutic environment, joining a compassionate, servant-led team committed to excellence in wellness and customer service. The position performs all types of massage therapy, requiring product knowledge and the ability to sell retail. Responsibilities also include actively promoting spa services, handling incoming calls, and making appointments for the Pavilion Spa. The therapist is responsible for maintaining current licensure, continuing education, and CPR certification.

Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
  • Massage Therapy
  • Chair massage
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Swedish massage

Responsibilities

  • Perform all types of massage therapy.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and ability to sell retail.
  • Actively promote spa services as well as own services.
  • Handle incoming calls and make appointments as needed for the Pavilion Spa.
  • Maintain current licensure, continuing education, and CPR certification.
  • Abide by GE and TriHealth Corporate policies including ethics, privacy and fair employment practices, and all applicable state, federal and business policies regarding HIPPA.
  • Communicate with PHS and TriHealth teams, associates and clients.
  • Demonstrate appropriate written and verbal communications skills.
  • Coordinate daily operations including policies and procedures, customer service, assigned programs, data management and reporting, facility management and client relations.
  • Create annual strategic plan and budget.
  • Report progression on monthly reports.
  • Meet predetermined annual budget and quality assurance goals.
  • Hire, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate staff who report to this position.
  • Provide industrial based medical massage therapy services to GE employees during agreed upon times, days, and locations.
  • Schedule appointments with employees who have work and non-work-related injuries, prioritizing work-related injuries.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate in a holistic manner.
  • Document the initial assessment/plan of care and each client encounter in the client record, in accordance with established policy.
  • Report back to the client and TriHealth manager aggregate outcomes that are expected and required by GE.
  • Report data on massage therapy clients monthly to TriHealth in accordance to requirements by GE.
