This person should be thorough, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of musculoskeletal and nerve injuries, and how to treat them. Massage therapists collaborate with other professionals such as chiropractors, physicians, and psychologists to assist with treatments, therefore great communication and professional skills are strongly desired.
