About The Position

Glacial Waters Spa at Grand View Lodge is seeking a talented and experienced Massage Therapist to provide exceptional therapeutic massage services, helping guests relax and address their specific needs. The role involves collaborating closely with guests to tailor services for a memorable experience. Requirements

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed to accommodate guest schedules and ensure exceptional service.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on achieving business goals.
  • Flexibility in work hours and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to lift over 80 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for 4-5 hours at a time.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of guest service experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of guest service experience in a spa, hotel, or similar service-oriented environment.
  • Strong product and service knowledge, including retail offerings.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
  • Guarantee guest satisfaction by adhering to cleaning protocols set by the Resort and the State of Minnesota.
  • Communicate maintenance needs to the Massage Spa Services Manager and Spa Director.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide services with professionalism, prioritizing guests’ needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Follow established massage treatment protocols and assist in developing new services and product recommendations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
